CHAPTER 14

– Arcane –

Amethyst Saga University

Wednesday, September 17th, 2025

“I can’t believe, you chose rooftop as a place to talk.” Eunbi folded her hands in front of her chest and shook her head.

“Do you think we will obediently accept your dinner invitation and sit happily with you, talking about the past?” Yena asked back, not even trying to be nice with her tone. She made a balloon with the chewing gum in her mouth, ignoring Eunbi’s frown at her. “You should be grateful that we remained silent when Wonyoung was so enthusiastic about her meeting with us here. Heck, we even agreed to meet you.”

“You really mad at us?” Eunbi’s eyebrows raised at Yena’s words. “You guys are blaming us?”

“You’re the second, The Elder is the first we blame. Do you really think we are in good terms with you?” Hyewon smiled slightly, the tone of her voice remained calm. “What do you want to talk about?” She asked to the point.

“The Elder asks you to be her guardians. The Ruler’s guardians,” answered Eunbi.

“Now we’re the Guardians of the Ruler, huh?” Yena narrowed her eyes, not liking the sudden request. “Why not you and your team? Aren’t you guys like, well, her Guardians for the past five years?”

Beside them, Hyewon just drink her soda, have no interest with this meeting. She could only think of Yujin right now. She was about to go after Yujin when she returned home first. If it wasn’t for Kaeun and Eunbi’s arrival shortly after Yujin left and invite them to talk, Hyewon would be with Yujin now. The sudden appearance of Jang Wonyoung must be surprised Yujin, but seeing how she was so calm is making Hyewon so worried. But now, she had to hold back and talk with The Leaders in front of them and she won’t pretend she liked it.

“Easy, Wonie have to make a visit to Astreaia and we know the Delta team can’t get into Astreaia. That’s why the ask us to return to be her guardians, Yena-ya,” Hyewon said, but then she realized something. About the gate. She quickly composed herself before Eunbi could notice anything. She made a mental note to talk about it with the others later.

“I see you’re getting more annoying for the past five years,” Eunbi rolled her eyes, who got a shrug from Hyewon as the reply.

“We are not kid anymore. We can be evil too if we want, Miss Kwon. Even to you.”

“You–!” Eunbi glared at the oldest girl among The Pillar. “You are the leader of this team, you should be able to behave like a leader.”

Hyewon shook her head. “There has never been a leader in The Pillar.”

“Then who should I talk to if I want you to listen–”

“Chaewon.” Hyewon and Yena answered in unison and made Chaewon raise an eyebrow. She did not expect to get that answer from her unnies. But seeing the look of surprise in front of her made Chaewon enjoy her role.

“Don’t you feel ashamed of giving responsibility to Chaewon? Both of you are older than Chaewon.”

“Why not? Someone as good as Chaewon is our best choice if we should pick a leader between us,” Yena answered.

“Why did you ask us to be Wonyoung’s guardians again? We failed to protect her five years ago,” Chaewon asked, remind them of the purpose of this meeting.

“It’s The Elder’s order, they asked you to return to Gallia and join the other members. There is a new mission for you and you are free to use all the accesses The Elder has. For the next six months you will be in intensive training program and avoid contact from the outside,” explained Eunbi.

Yena and Hyewon groaned.

“With all the responsibilities we have here, I’m afraid we can’t do that, Miss Kwon,” Chaewon answered, remained calm. “Can you tell The Elder to make a better offer that doesn’t require us to set a foot in Gallia?”

“Then what do you want?” Kaeun, who had been silent the entire time, finally spoke. Next to her, Eunbi tried to hold back a smile, thinking that The Pillars would feel intimated as Kaeun spoke. These girls could (or enjoys) annoy Eunbi as much as they want. But they always be obedient childs in front of Kaeun.

But Eunbi was wrong. Five years seemed changed too many things. Instead of feeling intimidated, Chaewon just smiled at them and Kaeun and Eunbi realized that something had happened.

“We will protect Jang Wonyoung by staying on her side in turn. We are busy and still have a job. I and Yena Unnie still have to finish our last game. Hyewon Unnie will be busy marketing our products, and Yujin,” Chaewon chuckled remembering her conversation with Yujin this morning, “Yujin has a regular job as a Radio DJ that she has to do every week. In addition, Yujin must attend classes and complete her assignments.”

“No way, An Yujin never cares about her studies. She even almost dropped out because she skipped too much class.” Eunbi shook her head, disagreeing with what Chaewon said.

“Everybody changes. Like you, like us.” Chaewon smiled calmly. Seen to enjoy every change in expression from The Leaders.

“And you can’t keep us locked up in Gallia. Six months perhaps like a short time for you, but for us, even one day in Gallia is too much,” Yena chimed in. “About the training schedule, you should follow our schedule and maybe we can invite you to go to Astreaia.”

Eunbi tightly closed her jaw, she want to shout at Yena, but Kaeun rubbed her back gently, asking her to hold back her emotion.

“One more,” Chaewon’s voice took over their attention, “if you want us to protect her, we want Wonyoung to leave Gallia and move to Chrysalis. Do you know the Chrysalis Village? We have a basecamp there.”

This time, not only The Leaders, but Hyewon and Yena were also stunned with what Chaewon said. Chrysalis Village? Basecamp? Since when they have a basecamp in Chrysalis Village? Even Hyewon and Yena just heard about Chrysalis Village from Miss Lee and Casey Kim’s conversation this afternoon. But both of them stayed silent and entrust this conversation to Chaewon. However, the missions they succeeded in carrying out so far were the result of Chaewon’s plan.

“Do you think The Elder will let you bring Wonyoung out from Gallia without the supervision of the others? Chrysalis Village’s securities are not as strict as Gallia’s. That place is no more than just an elite residential complex that currently is booming on the market. That idea will only harm Wonyoung.”

“But we also will be there with her in Chrysalis. Don’t you remember that incident? Those who in Gallia want us dead. Which one do you think is more dangerous, we stay in Gallia or Chrysalis?” Chaewon asked back, calmly but firmly stated that they will never set a foot in Gallia. “Besides, I think Chrysalis Village is strategic enough for our respective jobs. If you want to supervise us, I’m sure The Elder is rich enough to buy number of units there to make a basecamp for all your members on. Most importantly, don’t, no, never mess up our personal schedules.”

“That’s too much, Kim Chaewon. This mission won’t go well if we are not in Gallia.”

’We’?” Chaewon asked coldly. “There is no ‘we’ here. The ‘we’ for me are Kang Hyewon, Choi Yena, An Yujin, and myself. There is no ‘we’ as in you –the Elder’s minions– and us. We don’t care about what you need and we are not offering a partnership or teamwork with you.”

Eunbi sighed. Never before had she thought it would be this difficult to talk to The Pillar, especially Chaewon. Chaewon has always been the best mediator between The Elder and The Pillar whenever the other three Pillars are being difficult to handle. But seeing how the conversation went, it seemed like there were many things that changed from Chaewon, her little girl, her favorite sister. At least, Eunbi doesn’t need to deal with Yujin and she was grateful for it. She can’t imagine how this meeting would have gone if the maknae of The Pillar was also here with them.

“Say anything you want, but we are still a team, Chaewon. If you refuse to cooperate, then who will take care of Wonyoung if you are not around?”

“The Delta Team, of course.” Chaewon returned the question with an unexpected answer. “And it seems I have to remind you again that we are not in the same team anymore. We don’t intend to work together in any form with you guys.”

Eunbi exploded. “Yah, Kim Chaewon! Don’t you feel responsible for her?! You are destined to look after her! To protect her!”

“Then what do you think we did in Astreaia that night? Drinking? Partying?” Chaewon laughed dryly, Eunbi’s question sounded funny and ironic to her. “We almost died there, and you were not there. And you dare to say that we are a team? You dare to think we are not being responsible enough to protect Wonyoung?” Chaewon bit her lower lip, looking at The Leaders as if they were asking the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard.

“Kim Chaewon, you and The Pillars are and will always be responsible to take care and protect Wonyoung, and you know what kind of procedure you have to do and what kind of training you should―”

“You guys are really ridiculous. Are you serious talking to us about this and expecting us to obediently follow the orders as The Elder wants, after everything?” Yena tilted her head, looking at The Leaders with one brow raised. “Over my dead body, Miss Kwon. We’re leaving.”

“Don’t you want to gain Wonyoung’s memory back?”

Yena’s straightened up her body at Kaeun’s question.

“Is that a question that must be answered?” Yena asked with the coldest expression all of them ever saw. “I can’t believe five years has really made you like this. Really, you spent too much of your time with The Elder.”

When The Leaders kept silent, Yena continued, “You should ask that question to Yujin, because she’s the only one Wonyoung forgot. But if you asked me, Wonyoung doesn’t need to know what kind of sin you’ve committed so far. She doesn’t need to know what kind of betrayal you’ve committed on the night she was declared dead. Wonyoung doesn’t need to know how Yujin always blame herself and hates her birthday and all that because of you. Wonyoung will get hurt and I don’t want that.” Yena’s hand clenched tightly next to her body. The memory of that night returned and made her eyes red.

Control your emotions. I don’t want you to get out of control and create another problem here, Choi Yena. Hyewon’s voice echoed in her head and made Yena close her jaws tightly, trying to regulate her emotions.

“Don’t you want to know why it is only Yujin that Wonyoung forgot?” Kaeun asked, as if Yena’s outburst didn’t bother her.

“Wonyoung doesn’t remember Yujin, so what? You certainly didn’t expect this situation to happen, would you?” Chaewon asked with a faint smile. “Don’t use Yujin just to answer your hypotheses. We are not interested, and we don’t want to satisfy your curiosity by helping you find the answers.”

“Her memories of all of you came back gradually every year. But since last year, the progress has decreased. Wonyoung doesn’t remember anything else. We are hoping that if you stay in Gallia, it will make Wonyoung easy to adapted and help her to remember things she forgot.”

“Then why does she have to remember Yujin? What if she doesn’t want it?” Hyewon chuckled. “Seeing how you just told Wonyoung that Yujin is her last Pillar, I can read what you are thinking. I know what your hypotheses are. You think something happened when Wonyoung was hiding that night and you’re curious. Yujin was the last person she was with and she was the only one that Wonyoung couldn’t remember until now. This must be interesting for you, right?”

“We are not here to have fun, Hyewon-ah. What if the Necromancers comes back again and harm Wonyoung? Wonyoung’s life is at stake and it’s not fun at all.” Eunbi answered firmly. “We need everything that could prevent the same incident to happen again.”

“At least I’m glad to see you confused and upset. Our little happiness is to keep away The Elder from getting what they want.” A thin smirk was engraved on Hyewon’s face. She clearly saw the change in The Leaders’ faces. “Who guarantees that you will help us if one day the Necromancers return? No one.” Hyewon shook her head. “You ignored the sign that Wonyoung sent the night we were attacked. We needed help and you neglected us. Thanks to you, at least this time we know how we should behave. There is no you and us as ‘we’ here. There are only us, The Pillars, and you, as The Elder’s Minion.” Hyewon remained on her decision. She walked away without words.

“Yah! Kang Hyewon!” Eunbi tried to catch up to Hyewon but her body was pushed back when a strong wind passed her. Her gaze immediately went to Yena. As a fellow Pure-Warrior of Airbender, only Yena could do that to her. Their eyes met.

“Don’t go after her if you don’t have the decision on our request. Take it or leave it.” Yena walked after Hyewon.

“I hope you can persuade them, Chaewon-ah.” Kaeun and Eunbi’s gaze is now fixed on the only girl who hasn’t moved from her place. “We will discuss it with The Elder. But before any decision is made, I hope you will keep Wonyoung safe even from a distance. For the sake of Wonyoung.”

“Do you know what I really want to do now?” Chaewon asked without looking at them. “I really want to destroy Gallia so Wonyoung will never needs to go there anymore.”

Incheon, Kang’s Residence

Thursday, September 18th, 2025

Yujin blew out her breath and slipped a cigarette between her lips. Her hand reached into to the pocket on her pants and her coat, but she didn’t find her lighter. She remembered then she left her coat on the chair while they had the meeting about the festival. Known her best friend, Jiheon must be get rid of the lighter.

“Just for tonight, Yujin-ah.”

Yujin heard a flick of a finger and instantly the tip of her cigarette burned. She turned her head towards the voice and found her unnies walk to her. Seeing Chaewon’s approaching her, Yujin hurriedly put down her cigarette.

“Unnies, we can’t smoke near Chaewon Unnie.” Yujin looked disturbed when she realized there were lit cigarettes between Hyewon and Yena’s fingers. With a quick movement Yujin took their cigarettes.

“I’m not that weak, Kiddo. I’ve often let them smoke near me, but thank you for your consideration.” Chaewon stopped in front of Yujin. She looked at Yujin who was smiling. “Are you okay?”

Yujin nodded. “The best day I’ve had in the last five years, Unnie.”

“Today has been something else too for us, Yujin-ah, and you know that’s not what I meant. How do you feel?” This time, Chaewon’s palm cupped Yujin’s cheeks and caressed them gently. Yujin leaned on that touch and smiled as she felt warmly. But Chaewon frowned with the touch. Yujin’s skin is so cold, means she has been staying in this rooftop for some times. “You know, you have the right to be angry. You deserve to be upset. You have the right to vent your emotions and throw tantrums like you normally do.”

This time Yujin laughed with amusement at Chaewon’s words. “I’m an adult, Unnie. I won’t–”

“I’m an adult and I cried while hugging my girlfriend a while ago, and so did them,” Yena interrupted and pointed at Hyewon and Chaewon. Her hand reached the lighter and took out another cigarette from her coat and made Yujin huffed. “I almost fought Kwon Eunbi and Lee Kaeun if Kang Hyewon wasn’t screaming inside my head.”

“What would you say if Wonyoung saw us hurt? I wanted to vent my emotions too but not when Wonie is around us, Stupid. She doesn’t know anything; she thought our relationship is fine. That we all are still a lovely family.” Hyewon scoffed at her last words.

She turned to Yujin. Yujin noticed how she looks tired and her eyes were red. How long she cried, Yujin doesn’t want to judge. “Please don’t hide anything from us, Yujin-ah. Cry if you want to cry, shout with all your heart if it makes you feel relieved. Fucking swearing would be okay too but don’t say you’re fine if you–”

“I want a hug.” Yujin took a deep breath. She raised her head and smiled. “It’s cold, Unnies. I’m tired, sleepy, and hungry. Please, just a hug.”

Without words, the three moved closer and hugged Yujin. Yena even let go of the cigarette in her finger.

There were no words. For a few moments they can’t let go of their arms. They know, at time like this, they need each other.

“That’s enough, Unnie.” Yujin let go of her arms and grinned at her unnies.

“You are the one who asked for a hug and now you act as if you never wanted it.” Yena snorted and hugging herself. However, being on the rooftop at dawn is not pleasant.

Yujin kept grinning while rubbing her palm. “What about Wonyoung? Have you talked to her?”

“She is in my apartment with Minjoo, Yuri, and The Leaders.”

Yujin’s hand movements stopped hearing Chaewon’s answer. She tilted her head, asking for more explanation.

“The Leaders arrived shortly after you left and asked where you were. They asked Wonyoung if she had found her last Pillar and Wonyoung was surprised when they said that you were her last Pillar.” Yena looked at Yujin thoughtfully. “You really didn’t say anything to Wonie?”

“We only talked about the festival and she asked for my phone number.” Yujin replied as if there was nothing special in their private conversation, and indeed it was.

“You don’t mention your past at all?”

Yujin shook her head.

“I think it’s better like that because when I met her, I didn’t know what kind of situation Wonyoung was facing. I don’t know what happened and what she went through that she didn’t recognize me. I don’t want to scare her or even made her avoid me if I told her that we have known each other for a long time.” Yujin bit her lower lip and lowered her head. “I don’t want to burden her by saying that I am someone she forgot. I don’t want her to feel guilty or blame herself for not being able to remember me, so I let us start from zero.”

And then Yujin looked up to her unnies, frowning. “And you said that The Leaders just told Wonyoung that I’m her last Pillar? I guess they did it on purpose, Unnies. Let them be. It’s not a bad thing and I’m sure everything will be fine in time.”

The three of them looked at Yujin with a different meaning. But Yujin knew, they were thinking about many possibilities for why this could happen. Yujin herself doesn’t want to think. What she went through in the last 24 hours really drained her energy and all she wanted was to lie down in bed and sleep.

“Wonie asked us to make time for her. She stayed at Kimkim’s apartment because she wanted to meet Yuri and Minjoo. We were forced to lie to her by saying we still had work in the office because The Leaders were with her. Starting tomorrow we will take turns to drop off and picking her up to college. You don’t need to rush and force yourself to meet Wonyoung. We will accompany her on your behalf if you need time, Yujin-ah.” Yena broke the silence between them with the information that Yujin needs.

Yujin nodded and pulled Yena to move closer to her.

“I’m okay, Unnie.” Yujin’s hands moved mischievously playing with Yena’s cheeks and lips. Normally, the older girl would whine and scold Yujin, but she let Yujin doing it this time.

“But before that, I think we should talk about what The Leaders just told us.” Yujin’s hand movements stopped. She looked at Chaewon who smiled coldly as she mentioned The Leaders and they knew, the girl was up to something. “For this time, I want The Pillar to be in charge and get The Elders to be under our control.”

Seoul

Thursday, September 18th, 2025

Hyewon took a sit in front of Chaewon after making hot chocolates for all of them. They were gathering in the dining room of her apartment. The view from the window showed that it almost sunrise. Yujin, who previously complained of sleepiness, now seemed excited to hear Chaewon’s plan after Yena told her about the meeting with The Leaders.

“Someone seems so eager to mess with the Delta Team.” Yena glanced at Yujin and was granted with a wide grin by the younger girl. She ignored the hot chocolate that was still steaming and devoured the green tea ice cream in her hand.

“No no no… I’m just interested to hear Chaewon Unnie’s plan. My heart is beating fast and it feels like we are back to the times when we gathered and planned strategies. It’s been a long time since the last time I felt this,” Yujin answered enthusiastically while shaking the spoon.

“So, what are you planning?” Hyewon took a sip of her drink while looking at Chaewon who seemed so busy with her tablet. Yujin and Yena also looked at her with curiosity.

Chaewon put down the tablet and reached for the steaming cup. She brought the edge of the cup close to her lips and smiled faintly when she smelled the chocolate and mint that Hyewon deliberately mixed for her. Instantly she felt relaxed.

“Why are you sure that I already have a plan?” Chaewon took a sip of her drink and looked at the three who were at the same table with her.

She heard Yena scoffed beside her.

“Your eyes were red and the mark on our wrists was throbbing. You haven’t spoken a word since The Leaders came and I, well, we know at that time you used your ability to see something. Maybe their future or their past. Who knows?” Yena answered confidently with a meaningful smile. Although Chaewon rarely uses her ability as clairvoyance openly, but it’s like there’s connection between them that would alarm them every time Chaewon did it, Hyewon and Yena realized that.

“Ahhh I thought my mark was throbbing because I felt hungry.”

Yena snorted at Yujin’s response. But instead of giving a punch like she used to do, Yena threw the snack she brought from her bag.

“If you aware that I was doing something at that time, you should have helped me by buying more time instead of pulling me into the conversation.” Chaewon shook her head remembering what happened on the rooftop.

“We had no choice because by then Kwon Eunbi had begun to be aggressive. Yujin wasn’t there, while Hyewon and I have never won when arguing with her so we can only count on you.” Yena and Hyewon huffed.

“Why do you want Wonyoung to get out of Gallia? Not that I don’t trust you but wouldn’t it be too dangerous if we leave Gallia with Wonyoung?”

Chaewon shook her head at Hyewon’s question.

“That night, they, whoever it was, openly wanted to kill us. Nobody knows where we are other than The Elder and Delta Team. The Elder knew we were attacked, and they ignored us. For me, there are only two reasons why The Elder did that. First, they know that The Ruler will be born again on the night of the blue moon and they worried that the other gifted child will become victims if they helped us so they choose to let us die. Secondly, they have already planned it and intend to kill Wonyoung for a purpose that we didn’t know yet. They don’t even care whether the new Ruler will be born or not. I mean, they don’t care about that as long as we dead. And the question is why?”

“Wonyoung is The Ruler of Earth. If she died, then there will be no energy balance and–”

“That won’t happen if there is another The Ruler who has Wonyoung’s birthstone, Unnie.” Chaewon massaged her temple as she realized this conversation is getting deeper. “If a Ruler kills another Ruler and gets the birthstone, then it will make them stronger and unbeatable. We don’t know who The Ruler is besides Wonyoung and we don’t know whether another Ruler was born as an angel or vice versa.”

“I understand.” Hyewon nodded. “I thought the same thing. The Necromancers had managed to sneak into Astreaia before Wonie opened the gate. They had attacked us before Wonie sent the signal to those in Gallia. Only The Ruler who is capable to open the gates of every realms and the attack clearly has been interfered with The Ruler. There was another Ruler besides Wonyoung that night.”

“So you mean there is a spy inside Gallia and that person planned the attack along with that unknown Ruler while we were in Astreaia?” Yena asked.

Chaewon and Hyewon nodded at the same time.

“Right now, Gallia is the most dangerous place for Wonyoung. I don’t know if we should trust Delta Team or not, but the people who would bring Wonyoung out of Gallia should be someone we could trust. That’s the best decision if Wonyoung have to live without us, the Pillars, by her side.” Chaewon let out a long sigh. “I can’t trust anyone but us. Even if necessary, I don’t want to tell our plan to Minjoo and I hope you do that to Yuri too, Unnie.” Chaewon looked at Yena and she knew, the frowns on the older girl’s needed an explanation. “We got a lot of problems with our decision to left Gallia and it affected them too. The more they know, the closer they are to the danger. I don’t want that to happen.”

Yena nodded in understanding.

“Then why did you choose Chrysalis? Are you just randomly pick that place without thinking?” Hyewon asked.

Once again Chaewon shook her head.

“To be honest, as an architect, at first I was curious as to why Chrysalis Village was the talk of my company and colleagues. I studied the project and there was nothing strange about the history of the project. Chrysalis Village is an open tender and anyone can win it. But when I studied the design, I found things that were very familiar. This project uses the concept of smart building and is intended for the elite. Like a resort villa complex but located on the suburbs. Chrysalis Village was built in the highlands and is surrounded by pine forests, rocks, waterfalls and artificial lakes, divided into five sections with different property specifications in each section, and also has a monument as a complex center and the entire design is built in a symmetrical form.”

“Sounds like Gallia.” Yena answered doubtfully. “But-”

“Sounds like Astreaia too, Yena-ya.” Hyewon chimed in.

“Exactly!” Chaewon snapped the fingers at their comments. Her hand took a small projector from the bag and faced it against the wall, showing the design plan of Chrysalis to her friends.

“They call it Chrysalis Village but they designed this place like a butterfly.” Yujin, who had been silent, finally spoke and what she said immediately became the concern of the unnies. “Why do they call it as Chrysalis and not Butterflies?”

“Have you found the answer?” Yena looked at Chaewon who also seemed to think.

“I haven’t dug that far yet, Unnie.” Chaewon laughed with amusement when she saw the disappointed look on Hyewon, Yena, and Yujin’s faces. “To be honest I still wonder if every realm has a common thread with Gallia or only Astreaia. But I found something interesting.”

Chaewon zoomed in on one section located in the lower left corner of the design.

“Ashley Chiara Kim, Evangeline Vanessa Kim, Anne Cassandra Lee, and Alicia Imelda Kim.” Yujin read a line of names written as the members who took a part of the project. “Sounds familiar, but I can’t remember it.” Yujin stared as her unnies asked for an explanation.

“Ashley Chiara Kim… My classmate, Kim Jungeun.” Yena answered curtly. Yujin still frowned and turned her gaze to Chaewon.

“That one, Evangeline Vanessa Kim, is my cousin, also known as Kim Doyeon,” said Chaewon.

This time Yujin’s face stiffened at Chaewon’s answer. “Your cousin? No way!” And then Yujin hesitantly looked at Hyewon.

“The Leader of Omega Team. Lee Chaeyeon.”

“Oh shit! Alicia Imelda Kim is Kim Doah’s eldest sister!!” Yujin rubbed her arm, felt goosebumps. “How could I ever forget them?! Oh, man! I know Kim Jungeun is an IT expert like Yena Unnie. She works at the Miyawaki’s company. The one who created The Feathers Bullet! Chaeyeon Unnie is a planologist, of course I know that. But…” Yujin looked at Chaewon, “But how come Kim Doyeon is an architect?!”

“She graduated from an architecture department and has a license as an architect, of course she can become an architect.” Chaewon shook her head at Yujin’s question. “You think I can become an architect if I keep coming late in every class like you huh?”

Yujin waved her hand, ignoring Chaewon’s sneers.

“Unnie, I’ve followed Kim Doyeon since she debuted as model ten years ago. I even came to Paris to get a picture of her during Paris fashion week last year. I interviewed her at the opening of her fashion brand two years ago. I can’t believe she is your cousin and you didn’t tell me about that! I was even more surprise when I found out she is an architect. Girl, she got a sexy brain and sexy appearance in the same body. Such a lucky.”

“It seems like what Jiheon said about you traveling around the world just to chase that beautiful lady is true.” Yena snorted and her gaze was fixed on Hyewon who was still staring at the design with one meaningful smile. She pointed to a sentence in the design.

Restricted only for internal and buyer.” Yena looked at Chaewon. “This design is for an internal circle and secret, how can you have it?” Yena frowned and soon her eyes bulged at something. “Wait… Kim Chaewon… Are you part of their team? Or.. Don’t tell me you already bought a complex unit in Chrysalis?”

“I learned about this project after it was released, so of course I’m not an internal circle of them. If I don’t buy it then how can I get this design hmm?”

“Holy−”

“Shit! Kim Chaewon… You are awesome!!” Yujin stood up from her chair giving Chaewon applauses.
